MANILA - Rain or Shine continued its hot streak, defeating Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, 117-108, in the 2014 PBA Governors' Cup on Sunday held at the Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan, Laguna.

Import Arizona Reid exploded for 31 points while Paul Lee added 24 markers to lead the Elasto Painters to their third consecutive win.

According to the PBA website, Rain or Shine enjoyed a comfortable 94-77 lead early in the fourth quarter until Ginebra's Greg Slaughter, Zaccheus Mason and LA Tenorio managed to trim it down to 108-102 with just 2:10 left.

However, Reid and Lee remained hot, providing baskets every time Ginebra tried to take the lead.

Mason led Ginebra with 25 points, while Slaughter finished with 20.

The win tied the Rain or Shine at the fifth place with San Miguel Beer (4-3), while Ginebra dropped to a three-way tie with Air21 and San Mig Coffee (4-2).
