Carney shipped out, Harris comes in for TNT

MANILA, Philippines – Paul Harris will be returning to Talk ‘N Text to replace import Rodney Carney, who only played three games with the Tropang Texters.
’s Richard Dy reported that Talk ‘N Text had to release Carney after the import only averaged 17.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.

Talk ‘N Text coach Norman Black hopes that Harris, who led the team to a title finish in the 2011 Commissioner’s Cup title, will work his magic again for the Texters.

Harris averaged 24.9 points and 11.8 rebounds per game during his 2011 stint with Talk ‘N Text. He arrived in the Philippines on Tuesday.

The Tropang Texters are currently tied with Barangay Ginebra and San Mig Coffee atop the standings with identical 4-1 cards each.

Harris will be suiting up for Talk 'N Text in its Friday game against newly tooled GlobalPort.
