History unveiled at Philippine Sports Museum

MANILA, Philippines -- The Philippine Sports Commission formally opened the Philippine Sports Museum on Friday to coincide with the opening day of the 2013 National Games.
The Sports Museum, located along M. Adriatico Street, Malate, features medals that Filipino athletes have won in the Olympics through the years.
Among those displayed are the Olympic medals of Filipino legends Anthony Villanueva (silver medal, 1964 Tokyo Olympics), Teofilo Yldefonso (bronze medals, 1928 Amsterdam and 1932 Los Angeles Olympics), and Leopoldo Serrantes (bronze medal, 1988 Seoul Olympics).
