MANILA, Philippines – Boxing trainer Freddie Roach has more important things to do than watch the title bout between WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez.
Roach, the boxing trainer of Manny Pacquiao, admitted that he doesn’t find the bout "interesting" to watch.
"[Bradley] and Marquez had a good deal together or something like that, but I don't really see that fight as being too interesting, because who really cares who wins that fight," Roach said in Boxing Scene.
Pacquiao have had bouts against Bradley and Marquez. In June 2012, he lost his WBO title to Bradley in a highly controversial split decision. Six months later, Pacquiao lost via a shocking sixth-round knockout to Marquez.
The Filipino boxer is scheduled to make his ring return in November. He will be fighting rising Mexican brawler Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios.
