MANILA, Philippines – An undermanned Rain or Shine squad will lean on import Arizona Reid as they take on the Air21 Express in their first game of the PBA Governors Cup Tuesday night at the Araneta Coliseum.

Rain or Shine will still be without Sean Anthony for at least a week, while key players including Chris Tiu, Jervy Cruz and Paul Lee are still dealing with various injuries.

"My biggest concern is how soon my team can get back to being healthy," Rain or Shine head coach Yeng Guiao told PBA.ph. "Chris and Jervy are still not available, Paul is still not 100%, and JR (Quiñahan) is still a month away from practicing."

Rain or Shine still managed to reach the semi-finals of the previous conference even though they were far from 100%, and the E-Painters are hoping to make it even further in the Governors Cup, this time with veteran import Reid in the fold.

"AZ (Reid) is almost in game shape, and gives us the advantage with his quickness and familiarity with the system and the local conditions," Guiao said of Reid.

Meanwhile, import Dominique Sutton will be making his debut for Air21, having just arrived in Manila five days ago.

"Hopefully, he can adjust to our system and the PBA brand of play come gametime tomorrow," Air21 coach Franz Pumaren said.

Game time is at 5:45 p.m.
