Thai import Hyapha Amporn exploded with 28 points but it was Jovielyn Prado who delivered the most damaging blows in the closing stretch of the fourth set as Tacloban collected its second straight win at the expense of BanKo Perlas, 25-27, 28-26, 25-19, 25-23, in Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Reinforced Conference Wednesday.
Prado scored 3 of the Fighting Warays' last 4 points to end the match at FilOl Flying V Centre in San Juan and climbed to a share of the top spot with Creamline and PayMaya with identical 2-1 win-loss records.
Hyapha unleashed 25 kills and 3 kill blocks while Prado finished with 16 points including 14 off attacks for Tacloban.
Thai reinforcement Sasiwimol Sangpan had 10, while Kyle Negrito scored 9 on top of 27 excellent sets for the Fighting Warays.
