MANILA, Philippines – Two-division champion Donnie “Ahas” Nietes and fellow Pinoy Pride fighters Milan “Metodico” Melindo and Genesis “Azukal” Servania returned to heavy training after making media rounds to promote their upcoming fights in June.

The three boxers will be having title bouts in Pinoy Pride XIV this coming June 2 at the Resorts World Manila.

According to Philboxing, Nietes, Melindo and Servania trained in Manila for two weeks while doing television and radio promotional tour at the ABS-CBN studios.

Nietes, the reigning WBO light flyweight champion, did a cameo on the popular sitcom "Toda Max" with Robin Padilla, Angel Locsin and guest star Toni Gonzaga.

Nietes also had a one-on-one interview with the king of talk Boy Abunda.

Melindo and Servania also did their part in promoting Pinoy Pride XIV by shooting and recording ad videos.

The three boxers are now back in Cebu to resume their training at the ALA Gym.

In Pinoy Pride XIV: Night Of Champions, Nietes will defend his title against the dangerous and credible WBO and IBF World No. 7 Felipe Salguero of Mexico.

Melindo will go up against Colombian Jesus Gelez for the WBO intercontinental flyweight belt, while the 20 year-old Servania will test himself against pressure fighter Genaro “Poblanito” Garcia.

Pinoy Pride XIV: Night Of Champions will be aired on June 3 on ABS-CBN Channel 2 starting 10:15 a.m. There will also be a replay on Studio 23 at the same day.
