Fr. Martin: Adamson crushes PATTS

MANILA, Philippines – The Adamson Falcons banked on Ingrid Sewa’s intimidating inside presence while the San Beda-A Red Cubs drew strength from Adven Jess Diputado and Javee Mocon as they put away respective foes in the 19th Fr. Martin Summer Cup.

The 6-foot-10 Sewa scored 15 points for the Falcons, who swamped PATTS Colelge of Aeronautics, 80-40, for their fourth win in five games in the tournament.

The Falcons moved behind the unbeaten University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons in Group B, and both squads are in contention for slots in the semi-finals.

Diputado and Mocon, meanwhile, scored 16 and 14 points respectively as the Red Cubs marched to their third consecutive triumph in the junior division.

The University of Sto. Tomas Tiger Cubs crushed the San Beda-B Red Cubs, 89-65, in another high school tiff.
