Former National University (NU) standout Bobby “Ray” Parks has been included in the list of the Gilas Pilipinas 24-man lineup which was submitted to FIBA for the coming Olympic Qualifying Tournament in July.
According to Joaquin Henson's report to Philstar.com, the two-time UAAP Most Valuable Player has already spoken with Gilas coach Tab Baldwin about the possibility of trying out for the national team.

Parks, who previously suited up for the national team at the SEABA championships and the Southeast Asian Games, is currently playing for the Texas Legends in the NBA D-League.
Other players included in the list are Kiefer Ravena, Kevin Ferrer, Mac Belo, R. R. Pogoy, Russell Escoto, and Andray Blatche. The PBA players already joining the weekly practices are Matt Ganuelas-Rosser, Ranidel de Ocampo, Ryan Reyes, Mo Tautuaa, Jayson Castro, Troy Rosario, L. A. Tenorio, Greg Slaughter, Japeth Aguilar, Marcio Lassiter, June Mar Fajardo, Gabe Norwood, Jeff Chan, Paul Lee, Calvin Abueva, Terrence Romeo, and Marc Pingris.
Antonio said the deadline to submit a hard copy of the 24-man lineup is on Wednesday, May 4.
