LOS ANGELES, California --Audience members of US talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! were excited over the guesting of Manny Pacquiao.
It was the Pinoy boxing champ's fourth appearance on the show, which has become a staple before his fights.
“It's some kind of lucky" Pacquiao said about the show. "I always win when I come here before my fight.”
“I’m like a big fat rabbit’s foot,” Kimmel reacted with a laugh.
It was a fun interview from the start.
Pacquiao said he is very much ready to go to war with Shane Mosley.
“If they said 'hey, we're gonna have the fight right now instead of a week from now', would you do it?” asked Kimmel.
Pacquiao gamely replied: “Yeah!”
Pacquiao's visit to US President Barack Obama in February was also discussed.
“I told him…Mr. President, I hear you like basketball. [He replied] oh, I also like like boxing',” said Pacquiao.
"I invited him to watch the fight in Las Vegas. He said 'I can't but I'm going to watch the fight on pay-per-view'," added Pacquiao.
But what the people were waiting for was the Pacman's new album with composer Dan Hill, which will be released in the US.
Cheers erupted as the video of Pacquiao singing Hill's hit song, “Sometimes When We Touch," rolled off.
The show also aired behind the scenes footage of the recording.
Back in the dressing room, Pacquiao showed off his special edition ring of which only a few will be made.
On Friday (Saturday in Manila), it’s back to business for Pacquiao as he continues preparations for his title defense against Mosley on May 7 (May 8 in Manila).
