MANILA, Philippines – Boxing coach Freddie Roach will take a short break from Manny Pacquiao’s training camp to watch a boxing event in Benguet and scout potential boxers who may  follow Pacquiao’s footsteps.

Roach, who is currently raining Pacquiao in Baguio City, will be watching the "Great Fights At The Heights: North vs. South" card to be held at the Cordillera Career Dev. College (CCDC) Gym in La Trinidad, according to Philboxing.

The multi-awarded trainer said he would like to check out the improvements of Edrin "The Sting" Dapudong and Joemer Lumacad.

"If he could move his head a little more and make lateral movements, he would be good," said Roach of Dapudong.

Dapudong will go up against local veteran Dondon Jimenea.

Also fighting are undefeated junior lightweights Louie Yonting, Rugen Mamayog and Roskie Cristobal.
