Guillermo Rigondeaux, the WBA super bantam champ and undefeated in 11 fights, registered 121.5 pounds.
The stare down lasted more than a minute, and neither fighter moved.
Fireworks are expected at the opening bell.
Donaire has the height advantage, but Rigondeaux is not worried, trusting in his intense preparation and raring to prove that he is the better fighter.
Donaire plans to use the right strategy, his power and speed to prevail.
