Pacquiao family confident of Pacman's win

MANILA – The family of Philippine boxing icon Manny Pacquiao came in full force at the weigh-in for his rematch with Timothy Bradley which will take place on Saturday in Las Vegas (Sunday in Manila).

Pacquiao's mother, Dionisia, rooted for him and expressed confidence in her son.

"Kumpiyansa ako kay Manny dahil nandiyan sa atin ang Panginoon," she said.

Pacquiao's wife, Sarangani Vice Gov. Jinkee Pacquiao, did not join the family in Las Vegas. The pregnant Jinkee is expected to give birth to their fifth child this month. She and her children will watch the fight in General Santos City.

Pacquiao tipped the scale at 145 pounds, Bradley at 145.5 pounds.

After the weigh-in, Pacquiao headed to his locker room at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for a meal. His menu included tinolang manok, chicken kebab, rice, and banana.

Pacman was also happy with the turnout of Filipino fans at the weigh-in.
