MANILA, Philippines – Talk 'N Text remains uncertain if import Richard Howell will be able to suit up for their game against GlobalPort in the PBA Commissioner's Cup Friday.

The 6'8" reinforcement hurt his shoulder in a bad fall following his collision with Rain or Shine’s Paul Lee last Wednesday.

Howell has undergone tests to check the extent of his injury.

But Texters coach Norman Black said they are determined to extend their 8-game run even without Howell.

“We need to keep on winning. We need to keep the momentum going as we enter the playoffs,” said Black in the league’s official website.

GlobalPort, however, is eager to pounce on an importless Talk ‘N Text, especially now that they haven’t won a single game since starting their Commissioner’s Cup campaign.

The Batang Pier are already out of playoffs contention but are keen to avoid a sweep.

Game time will be at 8 p.m. at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena.

Meantime, Meralco and Barako Bull will clash at the 5:45 p.m. curtain raiser.

The Bolts are shooting for a victory that will end a two-game slide and will give then the solo 5th spot.

The Energy Cola, on the other hand, will try to get out of 9th spot to improve their chances of making the playoffs.
