MANILA, Philippines – Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao was featured in one of Hennessy’s "Wild Rabbit" promotional advertisements.
The ad, which made references to Pacquiao’s rags-to-riches story, is part of the cognac company’s thrust to show an individual's effort to reach success.

The video showed a young Pacquiao chasing a wild rabbit in the fields, which signified his constant pursuit of accomplishment.
The ad also illustrated several stages of the boxer’s life -- from his humble beginnings in Manila up to his success in the international stage.
Other icons who were also part of Hennessy’s Wild Rabbit ad were acclaimed film director Martin Scorsese and mucisian Erykah Badu.
Pacquiao’s agent Lucia McKelvey of Top Rank Inc. said the Filipino champion was a perfect brand ambassador for Hennessy.
“They wanted that athlete who did a lot more than just excelled in his sports field. They wanted an athlete who did a million other things, and obviously, Manny Pacquiao's that guy," she said in RingTV.
“He identified well with the brand of Hennessy, which has grown, and grown, and grown and never wants to stop growing. In tandem, they've held hands and they're growing together. Chasing a wild rabbit is about chasing your dreams and never stopping and never settling."
