MANILA, Philippines – Eduard Folayang gets a tough assignment in the co-main event of ONE FC: Rise of Heroes as he goes up against seasoned fighter Kotetsu “No Face” Boku.

The bemedalled wushu fighter is coming off a unanimous decision win over Vincent Latoel last December and is aiming to score a second straight victory when he fights in front of his fellow Filipinos at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on May 2.

However, he is expected to get his hand full when he squares off against Boku.

Boku, who recently stopped French fighter Arnaud “The Game” Lepont, is a former lightweight champion with knockout power and granite chin.

Also fighting on May 2 is Folayang fellow Team Lakay fighter, Rey “The Punisher” Docyogen, who will be pitted against Guam’s submission expert Joshua “The Hedgehog” Alvarez.

Other Pinoys fighting in the ONE FC card include Eugene Toquero and Jujeath Nagaowa.

Toquero is expected to brandish his muay Thai skills against young Malaysian Giani Subba, while Nagaowa will be making her ONE FC debut against India’s Jeet Toshi.

ONE FC: Rise of Heroes will feature the bantamweight title clash between reigning champion Bibiano Fernandes against Masakatsu Ueda.
