MANILA, Philippines - Former world champion Brian Viloria returns to the ring after an 11-month hiatus today when he faces unknown Juan Herrera of Puerto Rico in a 10-round super flyweight fight at Texas Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Viloria (32-4-0, 19 knockouts) seeks to shake off rust and get back to form after losing his unified WBA and WBO flyweight crowns to Juan Francisco Estrada last April in the what’s largely considered as a “tune-up” for a bigger comeback fight later.

“The Hawaiian Punch” is slated to see action in Macau this May underneath the featherweight showdown between Nonito “the Filipino Flash” Donaire and Simpiwe Vetyeka.
