MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Azkals will have friendly matches against 3 football squads, including the Malaysian national team, in April.

As part of the Azkals' preparations for the AFC Challenge Cup in May, the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) has arranged the national squad’s matches against Nepal, Qatar club Al Ahli SC, and Malaysia.

The PFF said the Azkals will first take Nepal on April 11 and battle Al Ahli SC on April 14. Both games will take place in Doha, Qatar.

The Azkals will return to the Philippines to play against Malaysia on April 27 in Cebu.

The Azkals routed Nepal, 4-0, in their previous meeting in October 2011 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

They also held Malaysia to a goalless draw last March.
