MANILA – Filipino boxing legend Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao revealed a few details of his game plan for his upcoming rematch against American boxer Timothy Bradley Jr. on April 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
“(Trainer) Freddie (Roach) and I came up with a game plan aimed at mixing speed and power in this coming fight,” Pacquiao said in a PhilBoxing report.
“I will be banking on my foot movement to chase him wherever he goes, and keep him off balance once I catch up with him,” he added.
“I will force him to come on and fight in frustration, and use my power to completely demolish him.”
Pacquiao is trying to avenge his controversial June 2012 loss to Bradley, which saw the American claim a split decision victory even as most ringside observers and reporters agreed that the “Pacman” dominated the bout.
“I won at least ten rounds against Tim Bradley the first time we fought,” said Pacquiao. “I intend to win all the rounds against him this time regardless of the length of the fight.”
The “Pacman” wants to make Bradley eat his words after the unbeaten American repeatedly claimed that Pacquiao has lost his hunger and killer instinct.
“Bradley has often said I already lost my killer instinct and that I’m already a has-been,” said Pacquiao. “I’ll show him that he’s mistaken on his perception when we get into the ring.”
