Alexander Gustafsson made it clear that he wants another go at UFC light heavyweight champion Jones “Bones” Jones.
Following his dominant performance against Jimi Manuwa, “The Mauler” called out Jones for a reboot of their UFC 165 bout.
“Jon Jones, I want my title shot again. I'm right here, whenever you want, man. Whenever you want,” said Gustafsson.
Gustafsson nearly pulled off an upset against Jones when he gave the UFC champion a heavy beating during their September 2013 title fight.
Jones managed to gut out a decision win but suffered bruises and a cut near the right eye in the process.
The 6-foot-5 Swede demanded an immediate rematch but Jones has decided to take on undefeated Glover Teixiera instead.
UFC president Dana White said that Gustafsson is likely to face the winner between Jones and Teixeira.
Jones and Teixeira is scheduled to square off in UFC 172 in April.
