MANILA, Philippines – Two rising Filipino prospects will stake their unbeaten records on March 1 when they face separate opponents in Pinoy Pride XXIV: The Future is Now.
Genesis "Asukal" Servania will battle Mexican Alexander "El Explosivo" Munoz, while Arthur "El Matador" Villanueva will go toe-to-toe against a still unnamed opponent at the Solaire Resorts and Casino next Sunday.
Servania is coming off a 2nd-round stoppage against former WBA super flyweight champion Rafael "El Torito" Concepcion of Panama last October.
He will be staking his WBO inter-continental super bantamweight crown against Munoz. Servania boasts of 23 wins with no defeat.
Villanueva, on the other hand, will defend his WBO international super flyweight title. He remains unbeaten in 24 fights.
Pinoy Pride XXIV will be aired on March 2 (Sunday) at 10:15 a.m. with a same-day replay on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel 23 at 7 p.m.
It will also be replayed on Balls Channel on March 3 (Monday) starting 5 p.m.
