NBA scoring leader Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder will get his sidekick back in time for their showdown against the two-time defending champions Miami Heat.
Durant revealed that All-Star point guard Russell Westbrook will be back in the line-up when they face the Heat on Thursday (Friday in Manila).
Westbrook has been out since having his third knee surgery on December 27.
He has been averaging 21 points, seven boards and six assists this season before his surgery.
Despite not having the All-Star guard for majority of the season, the Thunder has still put together the best record in the league at 43-12.
Durant has blossomed into the leading candidate for Most Valuable Player, with career highs of 31.5 points per game, 5.5 assists, and nearly eight rebounds per game. -- ANC
