MANILA – The Adamson University Lady Falcons and the Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tamaraws will battle for the last spot in the Final Four of the UAAP Season 76 women’s volleyball tournament Wednesday at the Arena in San Juan.

FEU and Adamson both finished with identical 6-8 records at the end of the elimination round.

The winner of the Adamson-FEU playoff will face the third-seeded Ateneo Lady Eagles in a step-ladder match.

Meanwhile, Adamson and the De La Salle Green Spikers will face off for the last spot in the Final Four of the men’s tournament, with the winner taking on defending champion National University next week.

In men’s football, University of the Philippines' ace striker Jinggoy Valmayor has been suspended for Games One and Two of the finals against FEU after incurring consecutive red cards for violent conduct in last week’s Final Four showdown against University of Santo Tomas.

Valmayor, who led the league in goal-scoring in the elimination round, is expected to be disqualified for the season-ending award.
