UAAP volleyball: Tigresses end season with victory

MANILA, Philippines – The University of Sto. Tomas (UST) Tigresses bowed out of the 76th UAAP women’s volleyball season with their heads up after beating the Adamson University Falcons on Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum.

The Tigresses had it 25-23, 25-18, 23-25, 25-15 against the Lady Falcons, ending their campaign with a 5-9 mark.

Pam Lastimosa led UST with 18 points on 13 attacks, despite temporarily leaving the game due to injury.

Mela Tunay and Ria Meneses added 17 and 11 points, respectively.

Bhebs Pineda paced Adamson with 21 markers. Mayeth Zapanta chipped in 13 for the Lady Falcons who are still hoping to reach the semis.

Adamson currently has a record of 6 wins and 8 defeats.
