Boxing coach Freddie Roach will be flying to General Santos to oversee Manny Pacquiao’s training for the Timothy Bradley fight.

But first, he will man the corner for Chinese fighter Zou Shiming, who takes on Yokthong Kokietgym on February 22.

“I’m going to arrive from China after [Zou] Shiming’s fight and we’re going to spend a couple weeks in the Philippines,” Roach said in Hustle Boss.

The boxing coach hopes to bring Pacquiao to the famed Wild Card Gym after two weeks of training in General Santos City.

The Filipino boxer has already begun doing light training by running laps at the oval at the Pedro Antonio Acharon Sports Complex early Thursday morning.

“Siyempre, kailangan natin na ipanalo ang laban, at kailangan nating dumaan sa puspusang training at ensayo,” Pacquiao told ABS-CBN’s Jay Dayupay. “Sapat lang ito na time na mag-start tayo, dalawang buwan bago maglaban. Tamang-tama ito.”

The boxer, however, plans to train a full month in General Santos before going to Los Angeles for the rest of his camp.
