MANILA, Philippines – Ginebra San Miguel is reportedly keen on replacing import Herbert Hill after his anemic performance against Air21 last Sunday.

Among the Gin Kings' top choices is former LA Lakers player DJ Mbenga.

Ginebra has allegedly sent an offer sheet to the 7-footer Congolese-Belgian, according to a report from Snow Badua on the PBA website.

"Okay na iyung American agent ni DJ. Siya na lang hinihintay namin," said Mbenga's local agent Sheryl Reyes.

If the former NBA player agrees with the offer, Ginebra management will send him a plane ticket to the Philippines.

Other potential imports being considered are NBA D-League players Vernon Macklin and Brian Butch.

Ginebra lost to Air21, 70-74, in their season-opening game.

Their import, the 6'10" Hill, only registered 17 points, with 18 rebounds, 4 blocks, an assists and a steal in 40 minutes of play.
