For former two-division world champion Tracy Patterson, Timothy Bradley has the tools to pull off another upset Manny Pacquiao.

The son of the late heavyweight great Floyd Patterson even believes Bradley can knock Pacquiao out.

“He’s just as fast as Manny, so I think he’s just gonna outbox him, who knows maybe he’ll catch him with something and stop him, we’ll see,” Patterson said in an interview with On The Ropes Boxing Radio.

He added that Bradley will be much more determined to beat the Filipino superstar since he will be defending the WBO welterweight belt.

Bradley snatched the WBO strap from Pacquiao in 2012 after hammering out a controversial split decision against the Filipino.

“I think that Timothy Bradley is gonna be a much, much tougher fight for Manny this time around because now Timothy Bradley has a championship belt. When you become champion, now you have something that you want to keep and maintain. I think it’s gonna be a much harder fight for Manny than he probably thinks,” he said.

He added that Bradley is the hungrier fighter because he needs to prove something against Pacquiao.

“He has a slight edge because he’s younger and I think he wants to keep his belt. Manny’s been there already and he really doesn’t have a lot to prove. I just think that Timothy Bradley is gonna be hungrier and that makes the difference and I think he’s gonna win the fight,” said Patterson, the former WBC super bantamweight and IBF featherweight champion.
