It can be argued that one can take Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. out of the Los Angeles Lakers, but one can't take the Laker out of them.
The Cleveland Cavaliers' two new acquisitions reportedly will wear familiar numbers in their new home, familiar at least to fans of the Purple and Gold and especially of the Black Mamba.
Clarkson and Nance, both drafted by the Lakers, were with Kobe Bryant in his final season and played with him in the famous 60-point game.
Bryant saluted his former teammates for their time with the Lakers. Clarkson and Nance were traded Thursday to the Cavaliers in exchange for Isaiah Thomas and Channing Frye.
