MANILA, Philippines -- Adamson University will hold its annual Falcon Run 4, a sports and find-raising event on Saturday at the Cultural Center of the Philippines complex.

Close to 10,000 runners are expected to join the run, which starts at 6 a.m. Call time for the event that jump-starts the week-long celebration of the 82nd Foundation Anniversary of Adamson University is at 4 a.m.

Since the inaugural event in 2011, the Falcon Run has successfully raised funds for various scholarship programs of the university.

Former Philippine Basketball Association player and now one of the assistant coaches of the Soaring Falcons, Vince Hizon, will host the event with his wife, Patricia.

The Falcon Run is organized by the Office for Institutional Advancement in coordination with several of Adamson University’s offices, departments and colleges.

The run will include races in the 3-km and 5-km distances. Cash and medals as well as consolation prizes will be given to the top finisher.
