NU goes for twice-to-beat vs UE

MANILA, Philippines -- Far Eastern University (FEU) and Adamson University will clash in a make-or-break game for both teams in their bid to snare the last semifinals berth in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 76 women’s volleyball on Wednesday.

The game takes place at 4 p.m. at The Arena in San Juan.

NU, meanwhile, will seek to clinch the twice-to-beat semifinals bonus against also-ran University of the Philippines in the first game at 2 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs are on a eight-game streak for a 10-1 record for second place. They are ahead by three games over third-running Ateneo (7-4) in the chase for the No. 2 seed in the playoffs.

Defending champion La Salle remains perfect in 11 games and is on track in bagging an outright Finals berth with a thrice-to-beat incentive.

The men’s volleyball games pit UP against FEU at 8:30 a.m. and Ateneo against UST at 10 a.m.
