MANILA, Philippines – Russian boxer Ruslan Provodnikov, a sparring partner of Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, ha denied signing a contract with the Filipino icon’s MP Promotions outfit.
In a report by Ronnie Nathanielsz that appeared on PhilBoxing and Boxing Scene, Pacquiao’s advisor Michael Koncz claimed Provodnikov had signed with MP Promotions, but the Russian disputed this.

Provodnikov’s manager, Vadim Kornilov, clarified further, saying, “It is not true. They made a mistake.”
“News about MP signing Ruslan is a mistake on Koncz’s part,” he added.
Koncz revealed the news in light of his attempt to expand and strengthen MP Promotions. The Canadian also told
Nathanielsz that he is aiming to sign Mexican fighters and may link up with a Mexican TV network.
Provodnikov sparred with Pacquiao during the Filipino’s training camp for unbeaten American Timothy Bradley Jr.
