MANILA, Philippines – Timothy Bradley may return to ring action 9 months since his controversial win over Manny Pacquiao last June.
This time, he will face Pacquiao’s Russian sparring partner, Ruslan Provodnikov.
According to Boxing Scene’s Ryan Maquiñana, the WBO welterweight champion is close to finalizing a deal with the Russian for a March 16 bout.
Bradley hasn’t fought since his victory over Pacquiao due to the leg injuries he sustained during the fight.
Provodnikov, who is on a 5-fight win streak, was one of the sparring partners who helped Pacquiao prepare for his title defense against Bradley.
