MANILA, Philippines -- The Best Center Women’s Volleyball League opens its 18th season at the Xavier School Gym in San Juan City this month.
From January until March, the interschool tournament will host developmental and competitive matches around Metro Manila for young volleyball players ages 7 to 18.
Renowned volleyball analyst and guest of honor Mozzy Ravena, the mother of UAAP cagers and Milo endorsers Kiefer and Thirdy, graced the season launch and delivered a message to more than 800 players, officials, and spectators in attendance.
Participating schools in this year’s league include Assumption College, St. Scholastica’s College, Manila and Saint Pedro Poveda College in the elementary division games; and Immaculate Conception Academy, Miriam College, and PAREF-Rosehill School in the secondary division games.
Last year, Colegio de San Agustin, Makati, Escuela de Sophia of Caloocan, Inc. and Hope Christian High School took home the trophy as their respective division champions.
The annual volleyball tournament for girls in elementary and secondary levels is organized by the Milo-BEST Center and sponsored by Milo.
