MANILA, Philippines – Filipino world champions Brian “The Hawaiian Punch” Viloria and Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire will both defend their titles in back-to-back world championship matches in April, Top Rank confirmed Wednesday.
Viloria, who holds the WBO and WBA flyweight belts, will defend his titles against Mexican Juan Francisco Estrada on April 6 in Macau.
The following Saturday, April 13, Donaire will square off against unbeaten Cuban boxer Guillermo Rigondeaux to defend his WBO super bantamweight belts.
The Donaire-Rigondeaux clash will take place in either Las Vegas or New York.
