MANILA, Philippines – Boxing trainer Robert Garcia admitted that Brandon Rios’ chances of getting a lucrative fight against Juan Manuel Marquez are slim.

Garcia, who coaches Rios, said Marquez is more likely to pick a fifth fight against Manny Pacquiao for another huge payday.

“We would like a match up with Marquez, but you know he (Marquez) is smart… he's a businessman and him fighting Pacquiao will give him so much money,” Garcia told RingTV

At 39, Marquez would pick the bout that ensures him a hefty purse, the boxing coach said.

“We know that Marquez is gonna want the fifth fight with Pacquiao,” said Garcia. “He's 39 so I don't blame him.”

Although Marquez has yet to formally announce if he’ll continue fighting, boxing promoter Bob Arum said the Mexican star is unlikely to pass up another mega-buck clash with Pacquiao.

"Marquez made his career-high pay day the last time, and he knocked out Pacquiao, so he's not going to get less than he got the last time," said Arum.

Marquez reportedly got a guaranteed $6 million in his December fight against Pacquiao, which he won via a stunning sixth-round knockout.
