MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Azkals will kick off their preparations for the 2014 AFC Challenge Cup by facing Malaysia in a FIFA international friendly on March 1 at the Selayang Municipal Council Stadium, the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) announced.

Their first meeting, in February 2012, ended in a 1-1 draw at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium – a game that saw Denis Wolf score in his international debut for the Philippines.
Their second encounter ended in a goalless draw at the Shah Alam Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.
