MANILA, Philippines – The NLEX Road Warriors rolled to their sixth consecutive win after routing Cebuana Lhuiller, 80-68, in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup Monday at the JCSGO gym.
Garvo Lanete and Kevin Alas each scored 11 points in the third quarter to allow NLEX to pull away and remain undefeated in 2014, boosting their chances of clinching an outright semi-finals berth.

NLEX outscored Cebuana, 28-20, in the third quarter and led by as much as 19 points in the final quarter. Lanete wound up with a team-high 21 points, while Alas added 18 markers.
“They know how important it is to clinch an outright semi-final berth, and they are responding well,” Fernandez said of his team.
NLEX broke the game open in the second quarter when they unleashed an 11-2 run that allowed them to take a 39-28 halftime lead.
Cebuana’s record dropped to 4-6 with the loss.
