MANILA, Philippines – Top Rank chief executive officer Bob Arum is reportedly working with Mexican promoter Fernando Beltran to hold the fifth installment of Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez’s saga in Mexico this September.

Ronnie Nathanielsz of PhilBoxing quoted Arum as saying that they are “saving Mexico for September.”

Arum told Nathanielsz that Beltran was “not of a mind to go make money for a Manny fight now in Mexico, and there’s nothing I can do.”

Pacquiao and Marquez fought for the fourth time last December, with Marquez sensationally defeating his Filipino rival via a sixth-round knockout.

A fifth bout became possible when Marquez announced recently that he plans to continue his boxing career after briefly flirting with retirement.

Both boxers are aiming to make ring returns in April.
