NU won its last four matches to finish second place in the first round with a 6-1 card behind De La Salle's 7-0 slate, while FEU is on a two-game roll to seize solo fourth with 4-3.
University of Santo Tomas takes on winless University of the East at 2 p.m., with the Tigresses hoping to end a four-game skid.
The men will take the floor in the morning matches, with University of the Philippines facing UE at 8:30 a.m. and Ateneo battling NU at 10 a.m.
Over at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila, second round softball action also gets going with UST (5-1) staking its four-game winning run against Ateneo (1-6) at 8 a.m. and Season 75 runner-up NU (4-3) taking on De La Salle at (1-6) at 10 a.m.
UE and UP, tied at fourth with 4-3 cards, take the field at
12 noon. Unbeaten defending champion Adamson University (7-0) is on bye.
