MANILA, Philippines – Talk ‘N Text’s prolific forward Ranidel de Ocampo was chosen PBA Philippine Cup Finals’ Most Valuable Player (MVP) after helping his team win the conference title.

De Ocampo averaged 18 points, 8 rebounds and 3.5 assists in their four-game sweep against Rain or Shine, good enough to earn him the Finals MVP plum.
“Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng pumunta dito, nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng fans ng Talk 'N Text,” the 31-year-old Caviteño said following their 105-82 win over the Elasto Painters in Game 5.
De Ocampo wasn’t alone in earning individual honors for their efforts to win the PBA Philippine Cup.
His team mate Jayson Castro was also named Best Player of the Conference.
