After being battered to the tune of a 34-point rout at the hands of the Toronto Raptors Thursday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers are looking for answers.

"We're in a funk," LeBron James said in an article posted on ESPN.com.

"Once again, we're back to the beginning of the season. Just got to find a way to get out of it. It's going to start with us and just everybody getting back to what we were doing when we were playing good ball. But we're so fragile. I don't know where it kind of went wrong or what happened to switch back, but we've got to try to pick it back up and find it."

The Cavaliers, who at one point threatened to dislodge the Boston Celtics atop the Eastern Conference standings, have dropped 7 of their last 10 games.

They're now 6.5 games behind Boston and third place in the East behind the Celtics and the Toronto Raptors.

"We've got to be better," Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said.

"We know that. But until we play better defensively, I think offensively sharing the basketball, everyone on the same page -- and if guys have agendas, we've got to get rid of our agendas and play the right way."

The loss to the Raptors was the Cavaliers' third straight game in which they gave up more than 127 points to their opponent.

"Maybe it's meant to be a wake-up call," veteran forward Channing Frye said.

"My bags have been half-packed since I got here. This is meant to be a championship group. We have to understand, if we're not helping move everything in a championship direction, there could be changes."

Cleveland's schedule isn't going to be any easier.

Eight of the Cavaliers' 9 games the rest of January will be against teams that have an above-.500 winning percentage, and a total of 12 of 15 until the All-Star break.
