FEU recovers to beat UST in men's volleyball

MANILA, Philippines – The Far Eastern University (FEU) bucked a first-set loss and defeated the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in four sets in the UAAP Season 76 men’s volleyball tournament Sunday at the San Juan Arena.

Behind a 25-point effort from skipper Karl dela Calzada, FEU beat UST 23-25, 25-21, 25-17, and 32-30 to claim their fourth consecutive win in the tournament.

UST’s Mark Alfafara scored 32 points, but it was not enough as the Tiger Spikers lost for the third time against two wins this season.

Alexis Faytaren added 13 points for the Tamaraws, who now have a 4-1 record.

In another game, Adamson University rallied from a two-set deficit to beat the University of the Philippines, 20-25, 18-25, 25-15, 25-21, and 15-10.
