MANILA, Philippines – PBA Commissioner Chito Salud is expecting an exciting series when the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters and the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters begin their best-of-seven Finals series in the PBA Philippine Cup on Wednesday.

In a statement, Salud said the Finals will feature “two well-coached teams with similar, effective and successful systems and playing philosophies.”

“It will be close. Toe to toe. Nothing much will surprise both coaches,” he said. “They will stick to their game and impose their will on the other team.”

“(It will be) a real treat for the fans,” he predicted.

During the final press conference before the Finals, Salud stressed that while officiating will not be perfect, they will be clear on their policy.

“No touch fouls, but we’ll call clear contacts,” he said, adding that he expects a "very, very good series" between the two of the best teams in the league.

The Texters are aiming to win their third straight Philippine Cup title, while Rain or Shine is making their first-ever Philippine Cup Finals appearance.
