MANILA, Philippines – The Barangay Ginebra Kings will gun for their seventh straight victory and 10th overall when they take on a slumping San Mig Super Coffee Mixers in the PBA Philippine Cup Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The Kings have taken control of the top spot in the league standings with their 9-1 win-loss record, and are looking to repeat their opening day victory against the Coffee Mixers in Sunday’s showdown.

Ginebra routed San Mig, 86-68, in their first game of the conference in November.

Meanwhile, San Mig is fighting for its playoff life after having lost two straight – including an embarrassing 77-101 demolition at the hands of Rain or Shine – that dropped its record to 3-7.

Ginebra is coming off an 83-82 victory against Meralco in their last game of 2013 that saw them overhaul a five-point deficit in the final 15 seconds and win on a buzzer-beating trey by Japeth Aguilar.

Game time is at 5:15 p.m.
