Philadelphia 76ers forward Joel Embiid was diagnosed with a sprained wrist and is considered day-to-day.
Embiid stayed in the game Sunday night after a fall in the fourth quarter. X-rays taken following the win over the Phoenix Suns were negative.
"They said it wasn't broken. They think it was sprained, so I guess that's good news," Embiid said.
Embiid had 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists Sunday in the Sixers' 123-110 win
The Sixers are 14-13 this season when Embiid plays and 2-7 without him.
"The way he plays, there's always a chance (for injury), you know," 76ers coach Brett Brown said. "It's like with everybody, but him especially. I think the fact that he just hasn't practiced, the awkward moments, unorthodox moments scare you a little bit more."
Philadelphia has two days off before returning to the court at home on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs.
