Morales, 61, has been managing partner of SyCip Salazar Hernandez and Gatmaitan since 1983.
He has been cited in Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Guide to the World’s Leading Banking Lawyers, and included in Asian Legal Business’ List of 100 pre-eminent Asia-Pacific lawyers.
The SyCip website also says he was president of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association, an organization of lawyers from more than 65 jurisdictions and with interest in the Asia-Pacific region.
He finished Political Science at UP in 1970, where he graduated cum laude. He also took Law at UP, where he graduated cum laude and class valedictorian.
He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Michigan.
He was 4th in the Bar in 1975 with a grade of 87.79%.
He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
