LPA off Surigao dissipates

MANILA - The low pressure area (LPA) off Surigao del Sur has dissipated, state weather bureau PAGASA said on Thursday.

In its 11 a.m. advisory, PAGASA said the LPA, which was last spotted 460 kilometers east of Hinatuan, has dissipated.

In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said Eastern Visayas and Caraga will experience light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will experience isolated rains or thunderstorms.
