From reuniting families, to saving victims of human trafficking, to providing assistance to migrants to migrants and their families, the International Social Service Philippines or ISSP has come a long way in making lives better for Overseas Filipino Workers and the families they have left behind.

Transit and Processing Center for needy OFWs launched

For years now, Bantay Bata 163 has been ISSP’s partner in helping children of migrant workers in need of special protection.

With hopes of providing timely, adequate and appropriate services to their service clients, ISSP through the help of the Philippine National Red Cross and PAGCOR, will soon be setting up a Transit and Processing Center.

“This is where we will process muna and try to meet the problems of the families at yung mga displaced tapos tutulungan namin how to, for them to go back again to society and to the community,” ISSP VP for External Affairs Lourdes Casas-Quezon said.
