MANILA, Philippines - The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) is bidding out the 3,099-square meter Eastgate property in Bonifacio Global City.
In a statement, BCDA said it is inviting experienced and financially capable proponents to bid for the lease and development of the Eastgate property, which is located in the BGC's Institutional Area.
The Eastgate property is zoned for institutional use. It should also include a public parking facility, as part of its development.
"Among possible facilities that the property can be developed into are: art gallery; clinic/polyclinic; concert hall; government office; library; place of recreation, sports or culture; school gymnasium; and school auditorium, just to name a few," BCDA President and CEO Arnel Paciano D. Casanova said.
The Eastgate property shall be leased out for an initial period of 15 years and renewable for another 10 years upon mutual agreement.
"The minimum acceptable starting annual lease for the property shall be P10 million, inclusive of 12 percent VAT, and subject to a 5 percent annual escalation," Nena D. Radoc, chairperson of BCDA's Asset Disposition Program Committee, said.
The winning bidder is also required to pay in advance the annual lease for the first 3 years.
Interested bidders may purchase the Terms of Reference (TOR) for the subject bidding at the BCDA Corporate Center, 2nd Floor Bonifacio Technology Center, 31st Street, Crescent Park West, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City until March 04, 2014 for a non-refundable fee of P75,000, payable to BCDA through manager’s check.
The TOR may also be viewed at the BCDA website, www.bcda.gov.ph.
A pre-bid conference is set tentatively at 10 a.m. on March 04, 2014 at the BCDA Corporate Center.
