MANILA, Philippines -- The remains of June Keithley-Castro arrived at the ABS-CBN compound on Thursday morning.
Keithley-Castro, the voice and icon of the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution, lost her battle with cancer on Sunday evening.
Keithley's family and closest friends followed the funeral convoy from a chapel inside Camp Aguinaldo to the ABS-CBN compound.
Keithley's remains and her family were welcomed by ANC news anchors led by Tina Monzon-Palma.
The coffin is now at the Annunciation of Our Lord Chapel, where a necrological service will be held at 6 p.m.
She will be laid to rest on November 29 after a final mass at the Annunciation of Our Lord Chapel at 9 a.m.
